Marquis Williams admitted to U.S. Coast Guard Academy

Regional Champs!

The Leo Lions captured the championship of their own IHSA Class 2-A Regional on Friday night, defeating Harper 69-41 in the title game. Darias Oliver scored 14 of his game-high 22 points in the second half, and Darius Branch hit three 3-pointers during an 11-point first quarter that staked the Lions to a 23-6 lead. Junior Christopher Winters was the grand prize winner as Leo saluted 39 Semester 1 honor-roll students at an honors assembly at the school on Thursday, Feb. 5. “This is the highest number of honor students we’ve had during my time at Leo, and I’ve been here 10 years,” said Mr. Frank Wilson, Leo’s vice principal. Two Seniors Sign Letters of Intent
