Dear Senior Parents:
Thank you for your support of the crazy end to our school year. At this point, we have ended our extension due to COVID-19 and our grace period. We are now moving to the start of the next school year, but before that happens, we are going to send these young men out into the new world as we have done for ninety-plus years.
We are holding Chicago’s only in-person graduation this year, on August 2 at 2 pm at St. Margaret of Scotland Church with social distancing. We will have 5 tickets per family. Everyone is required to have a mask to enter the church and use a sanitizer upon entering. Gloves and masks will be provided for the graduates only.
We have a fitting in July and a tuxedo pickup here at Leo in the auditorium. We will honor our seniors with the traditional graduation, senior academic awards, guest speaker, and full regalia. WE ARE EXCITED! We will also have our alumni drive in a parade from Leo to the graduation venue; this can also be for members of your family that cannot attend the ceremony. If you have questions, please contact me at Leo 773.224.9600 or reach out to Mr. Horton or Mr. Cannon. If you are willing to volunteer to help decorate cars or work with screening or anything, please let us know.
This is exciting!
