The Leo High School baseball team used a 12-hit attack to advance to the second round of the Leo-hosted IHSA Class-A Baseball Regional with a 13-9 victory over Seton at the Kroc Center on Monday, May 18.

Leo will face Hales in the second round at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 21. Morgan Park Academy and St. Francis De Sales meet in the other second-round game immediately following the Leo game, with the winners meeting for the regional title and a berth in the Wilmington Class-A Sectional at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23.

The Kroc Center is located at 1250 W. 119th Street. The baseball diamond is situated in the southwest corner of the complex, near 117th and May.

Chris Higgs and Cassius Kurns had two hits apiece, Chris Livingston drove in four runs and Kentrell Drummond earned the win in relief for Leo in the Hales game.
