Congratulations to Leo junior SirLaurence King, who qualified for the Class 1-A state meet in cross country for the second consecutive year. SirLaurence played 36th among 205 runners with a time of 15:46 for the 3-mile course in the state meet at Detweiler Park in Peoria on Saturday, Nov. 8.

SirLaurence is also a standout distance runner on Leo’s state championship-caliber track team and ranks fourth in the junior class with a 3.67 GPA. He is an outstanding representative of Leo High School.
