The West Point boxing team makes a return visit after conducting a clinic and boxing demonstration at Leo last year. In addition to teaching fundamentals to any youngsters interested in boxing, the cadets will share their stories of life at the Academy and what drew them to military service. They will be appearing at Leo from 10 a.m. until noon.
Later that night the Cadets will box against leading amateurs from the Chicago area on a card at the Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame, 1231 W. Taylor Street, Chicago. Leo Boxing Coach Mike Joyce ’86 is organizing the event, which gets under way at 7.
The entire Leo Family is invited to come out and meet these exceptional young West Point representatives.
